Today I will show you how to make this star shaped Foldable Market Bag. It's an easy pattern but I think it might be confusing for beginner, so I recommend this pattern for advanced beginner or motivated beginner. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do ^^

1. Materials Used:
Weight 1 yarn (super fine)
1.5mm & 2mm hook
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Stitch markers
2. Abbreviations:
MR: Magic Ring
ch: chain
slst : slip stitch
dc : double crochet
sc : single crochet
rep : repeat
sk : skip
st(s) : stitch(es)
blo : back loop only
yo : yarn over
ttr : triple treble crochet (yo 4 times)
qtr : quadruple treble crochet (yo 5 times)
sp : space
3. Pattern:
a. Star (x2)
Use 2mm hook
- R1: MR, ch. 3 (count as dc), [ch. 3 - dc] x4, ch. 3, slst
- R2: ch. 3 (count as dc), 2dc - ch.2 - 3dc, [3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc] x4, slst
- R3: ch. 3 (count as dc), dc, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x2, sk. 2, [dc x2, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x2, sk. 2] x4, slst
- R4: ch. 3 (count as dc), dc x3, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x4, sk. 2, [dc x4, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x4, sk. 2] x4, slst
- R5: ch. 3 (count as dc), dc x5, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x6, sk. 2, [dc x6, 3dc - ch. 2 - 3dc, dc x6, sk. 2] x4, slst
- R1: [ch.10, sk. 3, sc on both panels] x18, [ch.10, sk. 3, sc on one panel] x5, ch. 5 - ttr on the first sp (or last dc from previous row).
- R2: [ch. 15, sc into the ch. 10 sp from previous row] x24, ch. 7 - qtr into the ttr from previous row.
- R3-13: [ch. 15, sc into the ch. 15 sp from previous row] x24, ch. 7 - qtr into the qtr from previous row.
- R14: [ch. 5, sc] x25
- R1: ch. 80, slst to 2nd stitch marker, sc into all the sts from previous row until you reach the 3rd stitch marker. ch. 80, slst to the 4th stitch marker, sc into all the sts from previous row until you reach the 1st stitch marker, slst.
- R2-4: ch.1, sc around, slst to the first stitch.
